It's All In The Details | Curtain Rods

We often find our clients get a little bamboozled when we are nearing the end of the design stages of their drapery project when we ask them, "So have you considered what curtain rods you would like?" More decisions! 

There are so many options to consider when it comes to curtain rods. What size, what colour, which finials? Trendy or timeless? Wood, metal, or something else?

Curtain rods can frame a room, or they can be made to disappear. Generally speaking, they work well to create contrast in a room. In this sense they like a good eyeliner: they frame the room and give it depth, but don't command all the attention for themselves.

When it comes to colour, look at the dark furniture in the room when choosing a colour for your rods. Or if there is a metallic accent you'd like to accentuate, curtain rods are a great way to do this.
